Asia-Pacific Symposium on Sustainable Development in Higher Education

Mar 4 (Mon 10:00 am) – Mar 5 (Tue 4:00 pm) at Hiroshima, Japan

The Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW-Hamburg)’ Research and Transfer Centre “Sustainable Development and Climate Change Management,” together with the Network for Education and Research on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) and Manchester Metropolitan University, jointly calls for abstracts to the Asia-Pacific Symposium on Sustainable Development in Higher Education to be held at Hiroshima University from 4–5 March 2024. This international symposium will be held right before and in conjunction with the NERPS2024 Conference, to which symposium attendees will be eligible to discounted registration rates.

Expressions of interest to attend the event, initially consisting of a 200 words abstract outlining the paper and with the full contact details of the author(s) should be sent to the organising team at:  FTZ-Events (at) hamburg (dot) de. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 30 July 2023. Full papers are due by 30th November 2023. The details will be discussed with the selected authors.

The event will be structured around 5 main theme clusters, but the organisers are happy to consider other topics.

Theme Cluster 3:  Sustainability research
Theme Cluster 4: Community engagement, cooperation
