30th NERPS Webinar: The challenges of sustainability and non-financial reporting

March 14, 2024 (Thursday, 10:00-11:00 AM JST)

About the Webinar

Today, organizations are being invited to embark on the path of sustainability. In a society where the challenges are enormous, Muhammad Yunus, an implacable critic of the current financial system, says that it does not serve humanity. He insists that the economy needs to be redesigned. He denounces “the machine that sucks all the wealth from the bottom and pushes it to the top”. But not for a moment does he allow himself to be drawn into an ideological discussion. In this webinar we want to discuss the 3 zeros theory proposed by this Nobel Peace Prize winner: zero global warming, zero concentration of wealth and zero unemployment. In order to chart a more sustainable path, organizations have the option of using non-financial reporting, which is already mandatory in many countries. The latest guidelines for non-financial reporting will be discussed.
