Honored to have attended the Peace and Sustainability Network for Education on Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) Conference in Tokyo, Japan. In just four days, this experience became truly unforgettable. I had the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, connect with senior researchers and global leaders, and engage in meaningful conversations on peace and sustainability. One of the highlights for me was meeting Prof. Tshilidzi Marwala, the 7th Rector of the United Nations University and United Nations Under-Secretary-General. He has been a source of inspiration to me for years, and meeting him in person was something I never imagined. The networking was incredible, and the knowledge I gained has inspired me to continue growing and contributing toward a more sustainable and peaceful world.
